Over at TeeFury today, they're having a "battle" between two shirts, one is yet another "Han shot first!" design, while the other is Stargate with a touch of Wizard of Oz.

At the moment, the Stargate shirt is in the lead, probably due in part to them having lots of Star Wars shirts in the past, but this is the first time I remember one for Stargate.

The Mouse eats another franchise. Most surprising to me was news of "Star Wars: Episode 7" feature film targeted for release in 2015. Lucas had seemed rather set against future feature films after the last trilogy, but a truckload of money backed up to your house can change anyone's mind.

Went back to the one-screen theater that's been showing the Star Wars trilogy to see the third installment. They have a good sense of humor. They played this clip with a different bit at the end to remind people to not use their phone or text during the movie.

In honor of the 35th anniversary of the release of Star Wars [crushing feeling of old], another one-screen theater in the area is showing the entire trilogy. I missed Star Wars last weekend, simply because I didn't know they were doing this until someone mentioned it on Facebook, but I made it to see The Empire Strikes Back Friday night.
